The Role

As a Legal Secretary, you will uphold the high standards provided to the firm's existing clients and contribute to enhancing its professional reputation.
Responsibilities:
1. Organise and manage schedules efficiently.
2. Handle initial client calls and greet clients in reception.
3. Manage and respond to telephone inquiries promptly.
4. Prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.
5. Input data into the Cloud-based office management system.
6. Prepare documents, forms, and applications, and accurately record messages and interviews.
7. Adhere to the firm’s quality procedures as outlined in the Staff Handbook.
Requirements:
8. Previous experience working in a similar role.
9. At least 1 year of secretarial experience.
10. GCSE or equivalent qualification.
11. Knowledge of Public Funding and CCSM Online Portal.
12. Skilled in audiotyping from digital dictation.
13. Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
14. Strong prioritisation and time management abilities.
15. Experience in a solicitor's office and knowledge of legal aid would be beneficial.
