Role Overview
Join Frasers Group as an HR Business Partner based in Shirebrook HQ. This onsite role requires a full‑time presence five days a week, where you will support HR business partners and contribute to employee relations across the organisation.
Responsibilities
* Provide generalist, proactive support on a range of employee relations issues.
* Deliver an efficient service for employees requiring guidance on Company policies, procedures, and employment legislation.
* Create a positive employee relations approach; coach and upskill managers to fulfil people‑management responsibilities.
* Offer operational support and advice on employee relations matters such as disciplinary, grievance, and appeals.
* Assist with redundancy consultation processes and TUPE where necessary.
* Proactively manage absence records, identify and resolve problematic cases, and monitor KPIs and trends to propose preventive measures.
* Maintain an allocated employee relations case load.
* Support departments through organisational change and embed new structures and processes where required.
* Stay updated on employment legislation to provide sound guidance and expertise to management.
* Collaborate with the Management team to drive performance on key people metrics.
Qualifications
* Proven track record in a similar ER/HR role.
* Experience handling ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, absence management, and redundancy.
* Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment legislation, including GDPR.
* High level of discretion and confidentiality.
* Resilient, flexible, assertive, and confident approach.
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Strong prioritisation of a busy and varied workload.
* Excellent stakeholder, people, and change‑management skills.
* Good analytical and systems skills.
