We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative with FLT to perform warehousing duties across goods receiving, storage control and material handling processes. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the daily requirements for the manufacture of cell culture media and reagents are met and that performance expectations are achieved on a constant basis.
Experience in a similar industry is essential with at least 3 years spent working in a high throughput manufacturing environment. You will also show a passion for this type of work, be driven to continuously improve and fully engage in any initiatives that the team undertakes to make things better.
Essential duties will include:
1. Perform warehouse duties in line with current SOP’s and in compliance with current GMP, PPI process & 5s standards
2. Operate semi-automated and automated equipment.
3. Balance multiple tasks and prioritize critical tasks.
4. Demonstrate the ability to meet standards as defined by the manufacturing process
5. Follow established procedures as defined by training and SOPs.
6. Demonstrate good time management resulting in efficiency.
7. Operate and carry out basic safety checks on mechanical equipment Reach, Counterbalance & various other powered forklift trucks
8. Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Power point packages. ERP software experience would be beneficial
9. Perform all duties in a safe & efficient manner, ensure housekeeping standards are met
10. Demonstrate good communication skills
11. Take initiative to suggest new procedures
12. Take responsibility and be accountable for actions
13. May be required to perform other related duties as required and/or assigned.
The position will be ongoing with possibility of permanent opportunities.

14. Start rate would be £. per hour
15. Overtime £. per hour
16. Saturday & Sundays £. per hour
