We require an experienced Building Cleaner to work at Terminus Bus Station, 36 hours per week, Monday- Saturday.
Your duties will include cleaning allocated areas on site such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and washing to the specified standard.
Responsible to the Supervisor (Building Cleaning), your duties will include all aspects of cleaning to allocated areas to a high standard in accordance with set practices and procedures.

Job Description
Duties
* To carry out all tasks involved within the cleaning schedule of designated areas to standards required. This includes sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleansing, dusting, wiping, and polishing surfaces, emptying bins, and removing rubbish from the building.
* Collect stores and equipment necessary to carry out tasks.
* Use the appropriate safety equipment and personal protection when carrying out all the above tasks.
* Implement correct Health & Safety procedures to ensure safety of staff and all other users when undertaking duties.
Other duties appropriate to the role
* Report any faults or problems discovered during cleaning to line managers.
* Keep check on store levels and request stores as necessary, in order to carry out duties.
* Inform manager of sickness, holiday and other absences using the agreed procedures.
* Deal with emergency situations relating to cleaning and report them to the line manager.
* To undertake other duties commensurate with the grade, skills, knowledge, and experience of the post holder.

Essential
* Have basic literacy & numeracy skills
* Able to undertake a range of manual handling and cleaning tasks
