About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Residential Night Security Officer to join our team at RMG. Your primary focus will be to provide a visible security presence, ensuring the safety and peace of mind of our residents and leaseholders. You will play a key role in maintaining the security, cleanliness, and overall wellbeing of the estate.
Where will I be working?
Full time at our Silkstream site, London (NW9 6GN)
Rota
Nights - 4 on 4 off shift pattern - 7 PM to 7 AM
What will I be doing?
* Conduct regular patrols of internal and external areas, including car parks, podiums, commercial units, and rooftops.
* Monitor all areas for security issues, lease breaches, and anti-social behaviour, responding promptly and effectively.
* Uphold estate regulations, addressing issues such as balcony use, car park misuse, short-term lets, and pets in restricted areas.
* Provide support and reassurance to residents, responding to their concerns and queries.
* Deliver letters and flyers, update notice boards, and post on the resident portal.
* Produce incident reports and maintain accurate records, including CCTV footage and evidence as required.
* Respond to fire alarms and emergencies, supporting emergency services and conducting investigations as needed.
* Operate and monitor CCTV systems, ensuring all equipment is functional and evidence is collected when necessary.
* Assist with administrative duties, including issuing letters, monitoring non-permitted vehicles, and updating trackers.
* Support the estate team with additional tasks, such as setting up outdoor furniture and managing traffic bollards.
Experience and Skills
* Previous experience in security within commercial or residential setting
* Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Calm and efficient response to emergencies.
* Competence in operating CCTV and security systems.
* Basic administrative and reporting skills.
