An award-winning international engineering consultancy company who has been established for over 75 years, have an exciting new vacancy for a proven Finance Manager to join their team.
They are looking for a candidate who already have experience in a variedrole and who has a driven, ambitious attitude. This business offers a great culture, modern offices and excellent further benefits.
You will need a competent knowledge of Sage 200 or have experience using Project Management/Costing systems as this would be an advantage.
Job Duties:
Managing a team of three finance Administrators
Preparation & issuing of fee/billing invoices, working closely with project managers to ensure details are correct prior to preparing invoice
Tracking project expenditure
Reconciling fees received
Processing timesheets and allocating to the correct project
Monitoring office expenditure and allocation of contract staff
Monthly outstanding debtors list
P&L forecasting and monthly/annual reporting with external auditors
Fee forecasting
WIP/FIA schedules
Other generalist Finance manager/Office Manager duties such as expenditure forecasting
Month end reporting for the board.
Desirables:
The ideal candidate would have worked in a similar sector, such as Construction, Quantity Surveying, Architecture, Engineering or design where they have used Project costing software
