Position: Junior Marketing Executive
Suitable for: Junior Marketing Executive/Assistant, Digital Marketing Executive/Assistant with the minimum of 1 year marketing experience.
Location: Boston Spa (near Wetherby) - you must be within a commutable distance to Boston Spa to apply. On-site parking available.
Salary: £23,140 - £25,000 DOE
Our client operates a digital platform focused on heating and boiler aftercare, connecting homeowners, installers, and service or cover providers through a single streamlined solution. The platform enables customers to access, purchase, and manage heating service plans and ongoing support digitally, while helping installers maintain long‑term relationships with their customers after installation. By digitising processes such as servicing reminders, repairs, and cover options, our client supports both consumers and industry partners in managing heating aftercare more efficiently, positioning itself as a marketplace and technology platform rather than a traditional comparison website.
As Junior Marketing Executive, you will be a key part of a small, agile start‑up team, working closely with the founders and development partners. This role offers independence, creative freedom, and the opportunity to shape and implement ideas from concept through to launch.
You’ll play a hands‑on role across marketing, design, platform development support, and research, making this an ideal role for someone early in their marketing career who wants broad exposure and real responsibility.
Junior Marketing Executive - Essential Skills:
* Minimum 1+ years’ experience in a marketing role
* A creative approach to problem-solving and idea generation
* Ability to think independently and take ownership of tasks
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to respond effectively to changing priorities
* Comfortable working to tight deadlines
* Confident, efficient, and calm under pressure
* Strong written communication skills
* Active and confident user of social media and digital technologies
* Proficient using Canva
* Bachelor's degree (preferred)
Junior Marketing Executive - Desirable:
* Interest in digital platforms, marketplaces, and technology‑led businesses
* Exposure to B2B, B2C, or platform‑based marketing environments
* Previous experience in home improvement and/or plumbing and heating
