A Snapshot of Your Day
As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you’ll support the day-to-day operation of our machining facility by diagnosing, maintaining, and improving a wide range of electrical, mechanical, and technical equipment. Working as part a site-based maintenance team, you’ll help ensure machine availability, minimise downtime, and support safe, reliable manufacturing operations across a multi-shift environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
* Provide maintenance support to ensure continuous availability and reliability of CNC machine tools and plant equipment.
* Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and technical faults across the site.
* Maintain a diverse range of machine tools, including lathes, borers, and milling machines.
* Work closely with facilities, office teams, and production across all shifts.
* Liaise with suppliers to support the sourcing of parts and equipment when required.
* Support preventative maintenance planning in line with operational requirements.
* Use maintenance systems and applications to support daily team activity.
* Participate in an out-of-hours standby rota when required.
* Make recommendations on asset condition, improvement opportunities, and long-term viability.
* Work to manufacturer standards, technical drawings, and maintenance instructions.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments and method statements.
* Support training activities to maintain and develop technical capability.
What You Bring
* ONC/HNC in an electrical engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
* Time-served experience in electrical maintenance of machine tools, ideally in a multi-skilled environment.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a multi-shift operation.
