Job Description
Location: Northern England & Scotland
Salary: £39,000 - £40,000 base salary plus bonus up to £7,000 - £15,000
We are looking for a Digital Services Business Manager (DSBM) to join the Pet Professional team at Royal Canin. This field‑based role covers a large and varied territory across Northern England and Scotland, including the Northeast, Yorkshire & the Humber, and parts of the Northwest extending into the Central Belt, Borders, Highlands and Islands in Scotland.
Responsibilities
* Identify and prospect new business opportunities to expand our digital footprint.
* Drive the recruitment of veterinary clinics to our digital recommendation service and increase the use of our digital platforms.
* Educate and train veterinary staff on the functionality and benefits of our digital systems.
* Effectively manage a territory of up to 750 accounts, including independent and corporate veterinary clinics, hospitals, and charities.
* Collaborate closely with internal teams—Veterinary Business Managers, Marketing, and Key Accounts—to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve business objectives.
* Represent Royal Canin at trade shows, seminars, and conferences as a brand ambassador.
* Gather and report on market intelligence, including competitor activity and customer feedback, to shape strategy.
Qualifications
* Proactive and results‑driven with a passion for digital technology and the veterinary industry.
* Professional qualification in IT, science, or a related field.
* Knowledge and experience working with digital systems.
* Strong planning, problem‑solving, presentation, communication and IT skills (proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
* Clean driving record and valid driver’s licence.
* Desirable: Proven track record in sales or account management; In‑depth knowledge or direct experience of the veterinary industry.
