About the Role
You will work within a consistent room team to support children aged 0‑5, contributing to a nurturing, stimulating and well‑organised learning environment. This role offers stability, career progression and the opportunity to play a meaningful part in children's early development.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting the planning and delivery of engaging activities in line with the EYFS
* Building strong, positive relationships with children, staff and parents
* Assisting with observations, progress notes and key person responsibilities (training provided if needed)
* Encouraging independence, communication and early social skills
* Ensuring children are safe, included and supported emotionally
* Supporting feeding, toileting, nappy changing, sleep routines and daily care
* Maintaining a clean, organised and stimulating classroom environment
* Adhering to all safeguarding and health and safety procedures
Requirements
* Level 2 or Level 3 early years qualification
* Experience with children aged 0‑5 (placements or employment)
* Understanding of the EYFS
* Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one
* A caring, reliable and proactive approach
