About the Role:
We’re looking for a Commissioning Engineer with expertise in Electrical and PLC systems whos ready to embark on an exceptional career journey. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for commissioning, developing, and implementing our world-class products, involving extensive travel both within the UK and globally.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Commission company products at various locations worldwide, ensuring systems are fully operational.
* Modify software as required, following provided instructions.
* Perform electrical wiring, modifications, and installations as needed.
* Set up, troubleshoot, and diagnose faults in PC-networked systems.
* Work with electrical panels, switchgear, and IT systems to identify and resolve issues.
* Deliver training to customers on equipment operation and maintenance.
* Liaise with Project Engineers and Managers to address requirements or changes effectively.
* Maintain clear and professional communication with clients.
All tasks must be executed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with safety standards, meeting time and cost targets.
What We’re Looking For:
* Proven experience in commissioning various types of equipment.
* Willingness and ability to travel nationally and internationally for on-site work.
* Strong electrical background (essential).
* Mechanical skills (advantageous).
* Knowledge of PLC systems (beneficial).
* Proficiency in IT systems and troubleshooting.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Safety-conscious with a flexible approach to working hours and conditions.
* HNC qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant electrical discipline.
* ECS certification and understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental best practices.
* Gas Safe qualification (advantageous).
* Additional language skills (advantageous).
