3. Conduct internal audits to evaluate the effectiveness of financial and operational controls.
4. Identify and assess risks, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
5. Prepare detailed reports on audit findings and communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
6. Ensure compliance with internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement audit recommendations effectively.
8. Assist in the development of audit plans and programs tailored to the organisation's needs.
9. Monitor and report on the progress of corrective actions resulting from audits.
10. Act as a key point of contact for French-speaking stakeholders and international teams.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Senior Internal Auditor should have:
11. Fluency in both French and English, with strong communication skills in both languages.
12. A professional qualification in accounting or auditing (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIA) or equivalent experience.
13. Proven experience in internal auditing within the industrial or manufacturing industry.
14. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
15. Knowledge of risk management practices and internal control frameworks.
16. The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
