About Our Client
The organisation is a well-established not-for-profit operating within the London area.
Job Description
3. Lead on the Annual Accounts production and act as key contact to the Auditors and Governance Team.
4. Continuously drive improvements and actively contribute to the Finance Transformation to finance processes and systems (will also lead on the implementation of a new finance system when budget is assigned)
5. Act as lead, mentor and coach to the Financial Accounting Team and identify opportunities to improve processes.
6. Manage financial risks and improve internal controls through compliance to relevant governance
7. Provide a treasury function and act as key contact to our Bank and Investment Managers and provide periodic cash flow forecasts.
8. Support the construction and presentation of reports to the Investment Committee, Audit and Risk Committee and Strategic Finance and Assets Committee
The Successful Applicant
9. A professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
10. Proven experience in financial leadership within the not-for-profit sector.
11. Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
12. Ability to manage and develop a high-performing finance team.
13. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
14. Proficiency in financial software and systems.
15. Experience in preparing and presenting detailed financial reports.
