The successful Accounts Payable Assistant will have a positive can-do attitude towards working within a busy team environment and have a hands-on approach to support the Head of Finance within the department.
The successful Accounts Payable / Receivable Clerk expectations:
* A minimum of 1 years’ experience within accountancy
* Confident learning new systems
* Excellent communication skills
* Trave and Cruise experience an advantage but not essential

Job Specification
Purpose of the role:
The Accounts Payable Assistant will work closely with the Head of Finance as well as other team members in accounts. This position will suit someone who enjoys liaising with customers over the telephone, ensure invoices and expenses are dealt with in a timely manner and has excellent attention to detail.
Duties to include but not limited to…
* Process AP invoices in Sage
* Check and process employee expenses
* Reconcile and process credit card statements
* Liaise with suppliers and deal with any queries
* Reconcile supplier statements
* Support weekly payment run
* Support Accounts recievable processing
* Help with any adhoc reports and tasks as and when required
Hours: 09:00am – 5:30pm Monday – Friday in the office for 2 weeks whilst training, after which it will be 3 days working from home and 2 days in the office. ( Start time can be earlier to finish earlier if needed )
Salary: £27k
