Responsibilities will include: Essential Duties: Drafting wills and trusts Preparing Probate Applications Advising on and preparing Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs) Court of Protection applications and advising elderly/vulnerable clients Managing both contentious and non-contentious probate cases Drafting deeds of variation and advising on gifts Estate and trust administration (small and large estates) Liaising with the Probate Registry, Land Registry, OPG, Solicitors and other third parties Desirable Duties: Advising on trusts for pension and life insurance policies Inheritance Tax planning and asset protection strategies Advising on elderly client care issues and future planning Working with IFAs, accountants and internal teams on joint projects Long-term, the role offers the opportunity to progress into a Head of Department position, including supervising and managing a team.
