Role Overview
Mercor is partnering with a leading AI research lab to advance multimodal machine learning, which enables AI systems to interpret visuals and sound together. We are seeking detail-oriented freelance contributors to review short video and audio clips and compare AI-generated outputs. This is a short-term, remote role with flexible hours. Your evaluations will help improve the accuracy and reliability of next-generation AI systems.

Responsibilities
* Review and evaluate multimedia content including audio, images, and video.
* Compare multiple AI outputs and select the option that best meets project criteria.
* Add concise tags and annotations to support training and benchmarking.
* Follow documented guidelines to ensure consistent and high-quality results.
Qualifications
* Fluent in English (native or near-native); additional languages are a plus.
* Strong attention to detail and clear written communication.
* Reliable adherence to instructions and quality standards.
* Ability to work independently on focused, repetitive tasks.
Engagement & Schedule
* Work is fully remote and asynchronous, allowing you to set your own hours.
* The engagement is contract-based and limited in duration.
* Weekly workload may vary based on the number of available tasks.
Compensation & Contract
* The pay rate is $16 per hour for time spent on tasks.
* Payments are issued weekly via Stripe Connect.
* This position is offered as an independent contractor engagement.
