The Job Description
As a Process Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities related to water management, effluent discharge, boiler chemistry, chemical usage, product development, process rejects, and chemical system maintenance.
This role involves working closely with the plant leadership team to ensure good cost control of additives and deliver site compliance requirements throughout the department.
Main Duties:
* Manage a team of 2 process technicians
* Oversee the operation and maintenance of chemical systems
* Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives
Requirements and Qualifications
* Degree or HNC in Chemistry, Process, Chemical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
* Experience in water treatment and boilers within a manufacturing or process plant
* Ability to travel occasionally for knowledge transfer and training
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
