Ready to launch your career in NHS finance?

Join us at Public Health Wales as an Apprentice Finance Assistant and gain hands-on experience across key financial functions.

Contribute to wider financial functions such as budget monitoring, financial systems, and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely processing in line with NHS procedures.

Contribute to Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and annual accounts by helping to compile working papers, perform reconciliations, and meet internal and external reporting requirements, including audit.

Gain Broad Finance Experience: Rotate across the finance function to develop a well-rounded understanding of financial management, reporting, and control within an NHS environment. Full details can be found in the job description and person specification.
