Overview
We are seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels in our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach weekdays, evenings, weekends required. Join us to ignite a passion for learning.
Responsibilities
* Plan, deliver, and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met
* Develop, update, and improve course materials as appropriate
* Use a variety of teaching methods/materials
* Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties
* Keep up to date with latest developments in the field and student support practices
* Work towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression
Qualifications
* Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from UK or equivalent; full membership of PSRB's (PhD desirable)
* Previous UK HE lecturing experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation, Audit, etc.
* Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter
* Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback
* Accurate reporting and maintain thorough and organised student records
* Ability to work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills
* Ability to work with diverse groups of people
Desirable
* Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification, or commitment to enrol in a teaching programme during probationary period
* Full qualification from PSRB's such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, IFA
