My client, who are a Global Offshore Engineering Consultancy, are in need for a Marine Package Manager who comes from a T&I background. You will immediately be seconded out to a Scot-Wind developer, for a minimum 12 months' worth of work.
You'd be technically responsible for HTV Loadouts, long haul transportation and short haul transportation, whilst being responsible for the technical management of T&I contractor(s). Active participation in Risk Identification and Mitigation, highlighting key risks and working collaboratively with the team to mitigate them effectively is a key part of this role - so our client and the clients client, need high levels of communication skills for this person to thrive.
What would be ideal for my client is someone who has a Naval Architecture background who is keen on taking technical responsibilities including:
* Point of Contact with MWS for scope
* Supply of foundations to the Installation Vessel delivered in a safe manner, ensuring strict alignment with project standards and timelines.
This role is initially a contract role, with a view to go full time with my client (a global consultancy) or the developer, or to stay freelance. It's an onshore based role Monday - Friday, with some need to attend the client office with a few annual marshalling port / offshore site visits, as and when required. These type of roles don't come around often, and even rarer that we can offer Staff or Contract options at the end of this initial post, so if you're keen to find out more, please do get in touch.
