Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MEP Project Manager to oversee and manage the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all MEP systems are designed, installed, and maintained according to project specifications, timelines, and budgets, while also managing project teams effectively.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the planning and execution of MEP projects from conception to completion.
* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure MEP systems are integrated effectively into the overall project design.
* Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful delivery of MEP systems.
* Review and approve MEP design documents, shop drawings, and submittals.
* Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
* Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and stakeholders.
* Identify and mitigate project risks and issues related to MEP systems.
* Maintain documentation and reporting related to MEP project activities.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or related field.
* Minimum of 7 years of experience in MEP project management in the construction industry.
* Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems.
* Experience with Deltek project management software is a plus.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in project management methodologies and best practices.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
