Introduction
We require a Bills of Materials (BOM) Engineer to join our busy Engineering Team based at our site in Abercynon, South Wales.
The Bills of Material Engineer role is an integral part of the engineering team responsible for creating and maintaining the bills of materials for both connector and interconnect parts of the business.
Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for creating parts and managing the bills of materials in the system.
2. Review the Engineering change notes and update BOM's as necessary.
3. Become proficient in setting up new options and/ or creating rules to support various build configurations.
4. Ability to read, understand and communicate Engineering drawings and production documentation.
5. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure content of BOM/ timing is always up tp date.

10. Technical knowledge of product structure and processes, understanding of BOM, ability to read technical drawings with high complexity.

12. Strong work ethic and a commitment to engineering excellence and data driven decision making.
13. Work well on projects on their own as well as within a team.
14. Ability to communicate ideas.

Our Recruitment Process.
Initally we will reach out to you for an informal conversation about the role. This will allow you the opportunity to ask questions and find out more about TT, our site and our team. It will also give us the chance to learn more about you and your experience to date. At this point both parties have the opportunity to decide if they would like to continue with the process.
Formal interviews will be held on site and include a tour of the facility.
Due to the specific projects that TT Electronics Abercynon supports, we are unable to sponsor work visas for this role. Candidates will be required to achieve Baseline Personal Security Standard Clearance and hold UK or US citizenship.
Successful candidates will be required to undertake pre and during employment drug and alcohol testing.
