🚨 Gas Main Layer / Gas Operative Opportunities – Guernsey 🚨
We are currently hiring experienced Gas Main Layers, Pipeline Engineers, Gas Operatives, and Installation Engineers for permanent roles in the Channel Islands.
💷 Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 + overtime & standby
📍 Guernsey (Relocation & accommodation support provided)
🔧 Key Responsibilities:
* Installation, testing & maintenance of gas mains and service pipelines
* Working with PE pipework (up to/above 180mm)
* Ensuring full compliance with health & safety standards
* Delivering high-quality work across utilities projects
✅ Requirements:
* C&G / City & Guilds (NCO2 Service Layer or Main Layer)
* Proven experience in gas mains & service installation
* Strong understanding of gas safety & site compliance
➕ Desirable:
* NRSWA (Streetworks)
* GNO1
* Experience on larger diameter mains (180mm+)
