As the Supervisor – Civil Works, you will:
* Carry out and record site inspections and deliver toolbox talks.
* Ensure all works are carried out in line with approved method statements, review and amend risk assessments.
* Ensure site personnel have job relevant training requirements and are entered on the site personnel training register.
* Carry out plant checks ensuring they are in good working order and any certification is in date.
* Supervise temporary works, ensuring temporary works are installed as per design.
* Encourage and promote near‑miss reporting, ensuring close‑outs are delivered and fed back to the site manager and operatives.
* Ensure all required permits are in place for all teams before works commence.
We are looking for:
* CSCS supervisor card.
* CITB SMSTS/SSSTS qualification.
* CPCS lift supervisor/NRSWA supervisor.
* Temporary works supervisor.
* Proven people management, including sub‑contractors.
* Experience of the construction industry.
* HSG47 trained in underground service avoidance.
