We’re supporting a leading insurance organisation in their search for an Application Support Administrator to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with application support experience who wants to work more closely with core business systems, grow into an SME role, and progress their career in a supportive, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide day-to-day support to internal users, responding to user queries and resolving application-related issues
* Set up and onboard users onto new and existing systems
* Become a subject matter expert (SME) for core business applications
* Log, track, and manage issues with third-party vendors to resolution
* Support application deployments, upgrades, and testing activities
* Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure system stability and smooth operations
Key Skills & Experience
Essential
* Previous experience in application support or 1st line IT support
* Experience with user account setup, system configuration, and basic troubleshooting
* Familiarity with incident and ticket management tools
* Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive and curious mindset
* Willingness to learn and develop into a subject matter expert
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
Desirable
* Experience within the insurance or FS industry
