Procurement Specialist Essex (Hybrid) Permanent, Full Time
Alexander Lloyd are partnering with a fast‑paced, growing business to recruit a Procurement Lead. This is a hands‑on role responsible for end‑to‑end purchasing, supplier management, and order fulfilment across a dynamic operational environment.
Experience in an MSP/IT distributor (or similar) organisation is highly desirable.
The Role
You will take ownership of procurement activity, ensuring products and services are sourced, purchased, and delivered effectively. You'll play a key role in maintaining supply continuity, improving processes, and supporting commercial performance.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage purchasing across hardware, software, and services
* Source from approved suppliers and negotiate best value
* Raise and manage purchase orders through to delivery
* Track orders and provide clear updates to stakeholders
* Manage supplier relationships and escalations
* Maintain accurate procurement records and systems
* Support process improvements, reporting, and governance
About You
* Proven experience in procurement, purchasing, or supplier management
* Strong understanding of order fulfilment and supplier processes
* Commercially aware with strong attention to detail
* Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
* Confident working cross‑functionally with stakeholders
* Experience working with procurement systems and data
