Job Title: Family Support Worker
Location: King’s Lynn
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours/week
Salary: £25,584 - £27,269 per annum

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate Family Support Worker to join our Community Assessment and Family Time Service. The aim is to enable children to remain safely at home with their families.
You will provide supervision and support to children and families in their homes during an 8-week assessment, working alongside the Community Assessment Team to safeguard children and guide families, as directed by the assessing Social Worker.
Responsibilities
* Support parents in developing parenting skills and routines.
* Provide practical assistance with daily tasks to promote safety and wellbeing.
* Work with families in their homes as part of assessment and support processes.
Candidate Requirements
* Experience working with families in roles such as Nursery Nurse, Support Worker, Early Years Practitioner, Residential Support Worker, or similar.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject.
* Willingness to undertake training in Signs of Safety, Restorative Practice, and Solihull in the first year.
* Good knowledge of child development from birth to 19 years and factors affecting development.
* Flexible working, including sleep-ins, waking nights, and supported lone working.
