📋 Permanent Position
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading Mercedes-Benz Commercial Vehicle dealership in Billingham for an experienced LCV Technician to join their busy and professional workshop team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled Light Commercial Vehicle Technician to work within a modern dealership environment, maintaining and repairing a wide range of vans and light commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards.
🔧 The Role
As an LCV Technician, your duties will include:
* Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs on light commercial vehicles
* Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults
* Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
* Preparing vehicles for MOT and safety inspections
* Ensuring all work is completed to DVSA and manufacturer standards
* Accurately completing job cards and workshop documentation
* Working efficiently as part of a skilled workshop team
🔧 Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent
* Previous experience as an LCV Technician, Van Technician or Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
* Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Full UK driving licence
