3. Process and verify supplier invoices with accuracy and attention to detail.
4. Ensure timely preparation and execution of payments.
5. Reconcile supplier statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
6. Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
7. Assist with month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
8. Respond to supplier queries in a professional and timely manner.
9. Support the accounting and finance team with ad hoc tasks as required.
The Successful Applicant
As the successful Accounts Payable Clerk you should have:
10. Previous experience in accounts payable within an accounting and finance environment.
11. Proficiency in accounting software, especially Microsoft Excel.
12. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
13. An eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy in financial processes.
14. Excellent communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal teams.
