About the Role
My client is seeking an experienced Server Engineer to join our team on a hybrid basis in Cheshire. This role involves managing and optimizing server infrastructure, ensuring high availability, security compliance, and seamless integration with network and application environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Configure and manage Hyper-V environments using standard build processes.
2. Implement and maintain Windows Clustering and Network Load Balancers.
3. Apply CIS hardening via Group Policy Objects (GPO).
4. Manage Active Directory and Certificate Authority services.
5. Collaborate with network, security, and application teams for smooth operations.
6. Automate server provisioning and configuration using PowerShell, Ansible, or Terraform.
7. Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions, including Bare Metal Recovery (BMR).<...
