Your part in the performance
You’ll play a key role within our busy Finance team, based at our modern Holgate Park headquarters. Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, this position is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a fast‑paced and growing business.
Key Responsibilities
* Process purchase invoices to the payment stage efficiently and accurately.
* Match invoices to purchase orders and goods received for streamlined financial operations.
* Manage the Goods Received Note (GRN) list to ensure accurate tracking of goods.
* Handle supplier settlement discounts and direct debit allocations to optimise financial arrangements.
* Initiate and follow up on invoice queries, working collaboratively with suppliers and internal staff/managers.
* Address supplier queries promptly and professionally to maintain strong relationships.
* Perform supplier statement reconciliations for accurate financial reporting.
* Undertake adhoc administrative duties, including managing the accounts inbox and processing PDF documents.
* Act as an assistant to the Accounts Payable Manager.
Your Skills and Experience: What Were Looking For
* Previous experience within an accounts role.
* Strong Excel skills and proficiency across MS Office suite.
* Experience using accounting systems.
* Multi-currency payments experience.
* Excellent analytical skills to ensure accurate financial processing.
* Demonstrable commercial acumen for effective decision‑making.
* Keenness to work in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environment.
* Experience with European suppliers (advantageous but not essential).
