Superior Healthcare is urgently recruiting several experienced Support Workers to join a dedicated team supporting individuals requiring complex healthcare in their own homes in Crawley.
We currently are particularly seeking applications from individuals who have experience with PEG.
As a Support Worker, you will join our complex care team and work long-term with one or a small number of clients. Plus, benefit from a fixed rota and the option of overtime.

Superior Healthcare will provide full, paid classroom-based training when you join us, paid induction shifts, and ongoing supervision support from our in-house team of nurses and supervisors.
If a client’s needs mean that you require extra skills (for example, if they need assistance to meet their nutritional requirements), we will provide paid, specialist training to ensure that you can confidently support their needs and develop your own skills.
Role Overview:
As a Support Worker you will provide individualised care and support to individuals with, encompassing daily living tasks, emotional/behavioural support, and facilitating access to community activities and rehabilitation programs.
Community Integration:
Facilitating access to community activities, vocational endeavours, appointments, and social interactions.
Record Keeping:
Maintaining detailed and accurate records of care, progress, any changes in the individual’s condition and must possess the ability to use a computer and associated software.
Medication Management:
Assisting with medication administration.
Communication:
Supporting communication skills and facilitating interactions with family, friends, the wider public and other professionals.
Safety:
Ensuring a safe environment for the individual, including reporting any hazards/concerns.
Advocacy:
Supporting the individual’s rights and advocating for their needs.
Shift Patterns Available:
* 9pm-6am
* 8pm-8am
* 8am-8pm
Additional shifts are available in the local area for those with flexible availability and a willingness to travel.

* To closely observe and monitor the client and keep thorough documentation.
* To be fun, friendly and engaging with the client around their interests and hobbies.
* To be an advocate for the client, working in their best interest and in accordance with Superior Healthcare's policies and procedures.
* To show the client dignity and respect at all times.
* To regularly refer to and follow care plans written by the Nurse Manager to ensure exceptional person-centred care is provided.
Requirements
* Minimum of 6 months of professional care experience in a UK healthcare setting.
* Experience supporting complex care clients.
* Experience supporting those with PEG feeding
* Confident in making shifts engaging.
* Full UK driving license with access to your own vehicle.
