Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Onsite Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for desktop and laptop support, imaging, hardware installation, and general technical assistance within a fast-paced environment. This role requires both technical ability and strong interpersonal skills, as the engineer will work closely with internal teams and interact with customers regularly.
Key Responsibilities
* Build, configure, and deploy desktop and laptop systems
* Perform laptop diagnostics, repairs, and hardware fixes
* Carry out device imaging and software/application installations
* Install and remove office hardware and peripherals as required
* Provide technical support for end users and internal staff
* Assist with server and network-related tasks where necessary
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and equipment handled
* Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service delivery
* Participate in on-site and off-site support activities as required
Essential Skills & Experience
* Vetting clearance eligibility
* Experience with desktop building and configuration
* Laptop repair and troubleshooting skills
* Imaging and application installation experience
* Office moves and physical IT hardware installation/removal
* Ability to work independently and within a team environment
Desirable Skills
* Airwave knowledge
* PND experience
* MFD support knowledge
* Server and network minor troubleshooting knowledge
* ADI/Groups administration knowledge
