Overview
SEMH Teaching Assistant required for a 1:1 TA post in Lancaster (LA1). Full-time SEMH support role starting November 2025. The role is based in a Primary School in Lancaster with a Year 4 pupil requiring full-time support to progress socially and academically. There is potential for a school-based contract for the right person.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 SEMH support to a Year 4 pupil
* Offer consistent, compassionate, calm guidance to help the child progress socially and academically
* Collaborate with the school SENDCo and senior leaders
* Support the pupil within the class and within the school's SEN provision for tailored support
Requirements
* Experience supporting learners with special educational needs, specifically SEMH
* Availability for full-time role in a supportive primary school in Lancaster
* Calm, compassionate attitude and ability to tailor support to individual needs
