Overview
Due to our expanding workload, an exciting opportunity for an MSc-qualified Hydrogeologist to join our growing and highly successful multidisciplinary team has emerged. We seek energetic and innovative staff to work as part of integrated project teams of geo-environmental and geotechnical specialists who can deliver our solution-oriented services to our existing and new clients. The remit is national, with this role ideally based in Stoke-on-Trent, Manchester or Birmingham offices, with a preference for Stoke. Please advise us of your availability in your cover letter. A commitment to obtain chartership is essential, and progress toward chartership will be fully supported.
We are looking for expertise in delivering a wide range of hydrogeological services. These include the design and management of site investigations, including on-site supervision, logging, sampling, and pumping test analysis. You will also be responsible for managing groundwater, gas, and surface water monitoring and developing detailed conceptual site models. Your experience should also cover controlled waters risk assessment (GQRA and DQRA), borehole prognosis, resource assessments, and landfill hydrogeological risk assessments. A key aspect of the role will be engaging with regulatory bodies for Environmental Permitting and producing interpretive reports. Proficiency in hydrogeological modelling software such as RTM v3.2, ConSim, MODFLOW, FEFLOW, AquiferWIN32, or similar packages is also beneficial, along with experience in geothermal and mine water heat projects.
Responsibilities

Qualifications
* BSc in geology, environmental science, or a related discipline; MSc in hydrogeology.
* Several years of hydrogeology experience, with a consultancy background preferred.
* Experience using GIS software (QGIS/Arc), coding (e.g. Python), and database management.
