We provide computer and assistive technology solutions to support disabled individuals and are looking for a Helpdesk Support & Accessibility Technician to assist our customers and work as part of our technical services team based at our Ely office. The solutions that we provide really make a difference to our customers, and you will have the opportunity to learn about the latest assistive technology to help solve any software or technical queries and get our customers back up and running as soon as possible. The role involves working with customers online, over the phone and delivering some services via video conferencing. In addition to providing a central point for our customers for Helpdesk support, there is also a hands-on element to the role where you will be involved in installing assistive technology software onto a customer's computer prior to delivery. We will provide full training on assistive technology and there is also an opportunity to further develop the role and get involved in other projects to help share information on the latest accessible solutions for our customers.
Essential
Minimum of 2 years work experience
Good Microsoft Office skills
Excellent communications skills dealing with customers on the telephone
Good organisation skills
Ability to work as part of a team
Able to work on their own initiative
Desirable
Experience working in a technical support role
Experience working with both Windows and Mac operating systems
