We have an excellent opportunity for a full time or part time Lawyer to join our Family department, to be based at our Shrewsbury office. Day to day you will be expected to advise on a variety of Family matters, including Divorce, Finance and Private Law Children.

Job Responsibilities:

· Be able to efficiently manage your own caseload independently and engage in business marketing and development to attract work into the department,

· Advise clients on a variety of Family matters including Divorce, Finance and Private Law Children,

· Effectively use the case management system to manage client matters, ensuring each one is up to date in line with PCB’s compliance standards,

· Progress both new and existing matters surrounding Family law,

· Draft legal documentation and submission forms whilst complying with relevant case law and SRA regulations,

· Provide outstanding client care and give high-quality legal advice in line with PCB’s quality standards,

· Build strong client relationships with both existing and prospective clients.

· Highly organised with precise attention to detail,

· Experience with MS office applications such as Outlook and Word,

· Experience using case management and legal systems,

· Be able to work under pressure and retain high levels of confidentiality at all times,

· Proven written and verbal internal and external communication skills,

· Offer sound legal advice to a diverse client base,

· Maintain your continuing professional development requirements and stay up to date on relevant changes in Family law,

· Work in a collaborative manner within the team and wider firm,

· Be proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and with others,

· Have a positive approach to work and a strong work ethic.

Experience:

· Minimum of 2+ years post qualification experience (PQE) required,

· Experience in advising on Family matters required,

· Experience working in a Family department.

Job Types:

Working Pattern:

· Monday to Friday (35 hours).

Place of Work:

· Shrewsbury: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required).

· Between £35,000.00 and £50,000.00 FTE, depending on qualifications and experience.

PCB Solicitors do not offer visa/sponsorship or relocation packages.
