Waiting List Manager Pan GGC Gastroenterology Team (GRI)
Please be advised that, effective 1 April 2026, the full‑time working hours for all Agenda for Change posts will be reduced to 36 hours.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full‑time, permanent Waiting List Manager within the Pan‑GGC Gastroenterology Team based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary (GRI).
This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of waiting list services that support the clinical management of Medical Specialties. The successful candidate will work closely with the Clinical Service Manager and the wider operational and clinical management team to achieve and maintain key performance indicators, ensure compliance with Treatment Time Guarantees and waiting time targets, and support adherence to ‘New Ways’ guidance.
We are looking for an individual with sound knowledge of waiting list management, the ability to work accurately under pressure with strong attention to detail, and a collaborative approach to team working. The role requires excellent planning, organisational and coordination skills, flexibility in approach, strong leadership qualities, and effective communication.
