Working hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday Duration: Permanent Location: Gloucester Job Ref: 202383 About the role Benefact Group are looking for an Infrastructure Manager to join our Gloucester office. This is a hands-on IT Manager position looking after an infrastructure team within a wider Infrastructure support group. We are seeking an individual with good team leading experience as well as solid IT Infrastructure skills and experience with the Microsoft technology stack including Azure and Office 365. Networking and telephony as well as exposure to IT Security would also be advantageous but not essential. Key responsibilities Leading a team who support infrastructure initiatives including Capacity and Configuration Management, Patch and Vulnerability Management, Migrations and Upgrades Work with business change projects to implement necessary supporting infrastructure Work with a number of key business areas to identify opportunities for using technology to meet business objectives Lead the implementation of technology and its subsequent support and development Budgeting, estimating, planning and objective setting Provide input to technology and business strategy Management of third party suppliers and business partners Knowledge, skills and experience Good hands-on Infrastructure background and be confident in both leading a team and being hands on in terms of infrastructure support work Significant experience of IT Infrastructure implementation and support gained in Wintel and wider networked Infrastructure including cloud-based services and technologies Managing a team delivering and supporting Infrastructure technologies, Wintel, Network, VOIP Telephony, Hardware, Azure, O365.
