Job Description
Female Care Assistant - Todmorden
We are looking for a female care assistant to support older people in their own homes. Visits are mainly short "tea visits," with occasional morning visits. A car and valid driving license are required.
Expected Hours: 10-15 per week
Schedule: Alternate weekends, weekdays negotiable, morning and tea calls
Work Location: Todmorden
Responsibilities:
* Personal care & medication reminders
* Meal prep and assistance with eating/drinking
* Companionship & conversation
* Accompanying clients to appointments and activities
* Shopping, household tasks, and prescription collection
Requirements:
* Female applicants only (genuine occupational requirement due to personal care needs)
* Care experience preferred but not essential
* Good communication skills
* Ability to follow care plans
Benefits:
* Mileage allowance (30p/mile)
* Minimum 1-hour visits
* 28 days holiday, pension, training & support
