About the Role We’re looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused individual to join our retail store team as a Retail Sales Advisor. You’ll play a key role in helping customers find the right products, offering expert advice and a positive experience every time. Whether they’re tradespeople or homeowners tackling a project, your support will help make their ideas a reality. We are open 7 days a week including bank holidays so shifts will be allocated by rota. Current store hours are; Monday–Friday: 7am – 5pm Saturday: 9am – 5pm Sundays: 10am - 2pm Bank Holidays: 9am – 5pm Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent in-store service, helping customers find the right products for their needs Offer knowledgeable advice across our full product range, including wood finishes, paints, and accessories Identify opportunities to increase sales by recommending complementary items Support product displays and merchandising to reflect seasonal trends and customer demand Assist with receiving deliveries and ensuring stock is processed and organised in-store What We’re Looking For Strong customer service and communication skills An interest in home improvement, decorating, or design trends Friendly, helpful and approachable personality Comfortable working both as part of a team and independently Eager to learn and grow within the role Willingness to undertake training, including First Aid or Fire Marshal duties if needed Previous retail experience is helpful, but not essential – full training will be provided Why Join Us? 20 days annual leave (plus accrue an extra day per year up to max 30) plus bank holidays (or day in lieu if worked) Additional day off for birthday (use within a month of birthday) Pension (5% EE / 4% ER) Salary sacrifice scheme Shopping discount portal Healthcare Plan (medicash) Life Assurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.
