Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Role: Full-time (part-time considered)
We are working closely with a primary school in Warrington who are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident practitioner who is passionate about supporting pupils to achieve their full potential.
The role will include:
* Delivering planned learning activities to individuals, small groups and whole classes in the absence of the teacher.
* Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
* Assisting with planning, preparation and assessment of learning.
* Providing targeted intervention support to pupils, including those with SEND.
* Promoting positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ social and emotional development.
* Working collaboratively with class teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders.
The successful candidate will:
* Hold HLTA status or have significant experience working at HLTA level.
* Have strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
* Be confident leading lessons and managing a classroom.
* Have experience supporting pupils with additional needs.
* Be enthusiastic, proactive and committed to high standards.
* Hold (or be willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS certificate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
