Financial Controller Location: Telford Salary: Up to £65,000 plus car allowance T2M Resourcing have been retained to recruit a Financial Controller for the UK entities of a highly successful international manufacturing group. Reporting to the Finance Director (based in Europe), this appointment comes at an exciting time of change as the company is entering a period of transition, providing a great opportunity to lead and develop the team and introduce business process improvements. As Financial Controller your remit will include the following: * Responsible for all financial accounting and statutory reporting (UK and US GAAP), financial control and compliance including transactional finance * Working capital / cash management & forecasting * Inventory management and reporting * Responsible for HMRC returns and compliance (payroll, VAT and corporation tax) * Managing all aspects of external Audit and Corporate Internal Audit * Team management, support and coaching * Process Improvements: assess and improve financial processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and transparency in financial reporting * Migration of all operating business entities onto Sage 200 * Assist with streamlining of statutory entities and providing support as required To be successful in this role of Financial Controller we seek a candidate with the following skills, experience and attributes: * Fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA) * Significant experience of working within a small to medium size manufacturing business, ideally at division / subsidiary level of a group * Proficiency in financial software systems (Sage 200 an advantage) and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel. * Strong financial reporting, control and compliance skills * Able to meet deadlines in a timely and efficient manner * Proven team management skills – great at leading and developing a high performing team * Experience of driving change and finance transformation initiatives * A collegiate and supporting leadership style but driven and passionate about meeting high standards * Willing to be ‘on-site’ 5 days a week The company provide a competitive salary, annual bonus scheme and benefits package.
