Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled and reliable Bodywork Technician to join our dealership's service team. In this hands-on role, you will carry out high-quality body repairs and paintwork on a variety of vehicles — ensuring they meet both manufacturer standards and customer expectations.
You will work as part of a busy and professional workshop environment, supporting our goal of delivering top-tier service and workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform all aspects of vehicle body repair including panel beating, dent removal, and filler work
* Carry out paint preparation, masking, and spraying (if applicable)
* Complete repairs to manufacturer and insurance standards
* Ensure all work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard
* Inspect completed work for quality assurance and rectify any issues
* Keep accurate records of work completed and materials used
* Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
* Communicate clearly with workshop control and service advisors
Skills & Experience Required
* Proven experience as a bodywork technician / panel beater / vehicle repair technician
* Strong understanding of vehicle body repair techniques and tools
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
* Understanding of health & safety regulations in a workshop setting
* Full UK driving licence (required)
Desirable (But Not Essential)
* Experience working within a dealership or accident repair centre
* Paint spraying experience or qualifications
* Relevant qualifications (e.g. IMI, NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Body Repair)
