Permanent Transport Co-Ordinator required for Lisburn. Location: Lisburn (with occasional travel to Dublin) Salary: £28,000 £32,000 (DOE) Hours of Work: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm (Flexible start/finish time within 7.00 am - 7.00 pm) About the Role My client is seeking an experienced and proactive Transport Co-Ordinator to manage and optimise their fleet operations across Northern Ireland and, in time, the Republic of Ireland. This role is critical to ensuring the efficient, cost-effective, and reliable movement of goods across our three on-site brands, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational synergy. Duties will include: Fleet Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of a 7-van fleet across Northern Ireland, ensuring next-day delivery performance targets are met. Optimisation: Maximise vehicle utilisation in terms of load space, routing efficiency, and cost to serve. Synergy Development: Drive alignment and efficiency across currently separate transport operations within the site. Network Expansion: Support the integration and management of the Republic of Ireland network (an additional 6 vans) as operations expand. System Use: Effectively use Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transport Management Systems (TMS) to plan, monitor, and report on fleet activity. Reporting: Produce and analyse transport performance reports to identify cost savings and process improvements. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all transport activities comply with relevant legislation, company policies, and health & safety standards. Communication: Collaborate closely with warehouse, customer service, and operations teams to maintain smooth delivery execution and customer satisfaction. Essential Criteria: Proven experience in a transport or logistics co-ordination. Strong working knowledge of WMS and TMS systems. Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Confident communicator with the ability to liaise effectively across departments and external partners. Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and data analysis tools. Flexible and willing to travel to Dublin as required. A self-starter with the drive and ambition to progress into a Team Leader role.
