The Role:
Reporting to the Head of Sales, the Business Development Manager will focus on identifying and securing new commercial opportunities across the UK, supporting the company’s ambitious growth strategy. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on sales execution, developing long-term relationships with key customers across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Identify and target new business opportunities across retail, foodservice, and event sectors
* Develop tailored proposals and pitch presentations aligned to customer needs
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring a high level of service and account growth
* Work cross-functionally with NPD, marketing, and operations to deliver commercial success
* Negotiate terms and contracts that support sustainable growth
* Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy

* A proven track record in business development or field sales within the food industry
* Experience working with major retailers, foodservice, or hospitality clients
* Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
* Confident communicator, able to engage senior stakeholders and represent the brand

* Full UK driving licence required
