Assistant HR Manager
Our client, a renowned hotel in Milton Keynes, is looking for an experienced
Assistant HR Manager
to support the leadership team and drive people-focused initiatives across the business.
As the Assistant HR Manager, your expertise will play a crucial role in facilitating end-to-end recruitment, developing comprehensive training programs and providing expert guidance on employee relations issues.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead end-to-end recruitment, including pre-employment checks, agency engagement and induction programmes
* Support managers on employee relations, performance management, absence and disciplinary matters
* Organise and deliver in-house training, source apprenticeships and external training, and attend job fairs
* Manage the in-house learning management system and build succession plans
* Provide accurate monthly payroll data, record reward information and support pay reviews
* Drive employee engagement through recognition strategies, social activities and team events
* Maintain HR records, ensure policy compliance, and provide general HR guidance.
Who They're Looking For
* Proven HR experience (2+ years preferred), ideally in hotels or a similar environment
* CIPD qualified (Level 3 or above)
* Experienced in delivering effective learning and development sessions
* Confident decision-maker with a proactive, adaptable approach
* Strong communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail
* Proficient with HR systems and data management
