designed to provide safe, supportive, and nurturing environments for vulnerable families undergoing parenting assessments. Our centre will operate from a newly acquired, purpose-designed property in Slough, and will be fully
Ofsted registered
. With an experienced team from Medical and Real Estate backgrounds, our goal is to build a centre known for its
professional integrity, outstanding safeguarding

The Role
We are seeking an
exceptional Registered Manager
to join us at this early and exciting stage. The role will start on a
consultancy/freelance basis
, supporting our
Ofsted registration process
, and transition to a
full-time permanent role upon successful registration
.

wider leadership position overseeing multiple sites

Key Responsibilities (Consultancy Phase):
Lead and support the
Ofsted registration
process from end to end
Attend Ofsted interviews, pre-registration visit and provide guidance to the leadership team
Ensure the property setup and staffing structure aligns with Residential Family Centre (RFC) regulations
Support recruitment and training plans for staff pre-launch
Key Responsibilities (Post-Registration):
Oversee the day-to-day management of the Residential Family Centre
Ensure full
Ofsted compliance
and adherence to the
National Minimum Standards
for RFCs
Lead and support the staff team to deliver safe, high-quality assessment services
Represent the centre with local authorities, safeguarding teams, and commissioners
Maintain robust safeguarding, risk management, and incident reporting systems
Drive a culture of
excellence, reflection, and continuous improvement
Requirements:
Minimum 2 years experience
as a Registered Manager in residential social care (ideally family assessments, childrens homes, or fostering)
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare
(or equivalent)
Strong understanding of
Ofsted inspection framework
, safeguarding, and care planning
Confidence in preparing for and leading
Ofsted inspections
Excellent organisational and leadership skills
Enhanced DBS (or willingness to undergo one)
