Part-Time Administrator (Could potentially lead to more hours) Location: Huddersfield Salary: £19,047.60 per annum Hours: 30 hours a week - core hours 9am - 5pm Start Date: ASAP Role Type: Permanent Are you an experienced Administrator looking for a varied role where you can genuinely make an impact? We are working with a long-standing, family-run business that's going through an exciting period of growth. They're looking to bring a proactive and reliable Administrator into their close-knit office team to help keep things running smoothly and ensure their customers continue to receive a first-class service. This is a broad and hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys structure, customer interaction, and being at the heart of a busy team. While the role is currently part-time, there may be potential to increase hours in the future as the business grows. Key Responsibilities: Preparing, printing and sending off quotes via an in house accounting software system. (Training will be provided) Following up with customers regarding quotes in a professional manner. Diary management - booking site and survey visits. Answering the phone in a polite and professional manner - taking any messages correctly and passing them on to the correct departments. Helping customers with any enquiries via email and phone - ensuring customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain positive relationships with both colleagues and customers. Ensuring all paperwork is correctly stored away and compliant with policy and procedure. Dealing with post - scanning, downloading and sending. Creating and posting any relevant and update content via social media platforms - ensuring always on trend. Any other ad hoc admin duties. Key Requirements: Experience in a similar administrative or office-based role A proactive and reliable individual with excellent organisational skills. Strong communication skills and attention to detail. A willingness to grow with the role and the business. Tech-savvy and willing to learn new systems (e.g. project/accounting software) Prioritising work load depending on the demand of urgency.
