Location: Dorking, Surrey
Employment Type: Full-time, on-site
The Role
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our Welding & Fabrication Department. You will carry out welding to high standards, working on components and assemblies in mild and stainless steel. A weld test will be required during the interview process.
Hours / Shifts:
* Two shift pattern: 05:4513:45 and 14:1522:15
* Shifts alternate weekly
Key Responsibilities
* Perform welding tasks to specification in both mild steel and stainless steel
* Read and interpret engineering drawings
* Prepare, fit, and align parts prior to welding
* Carry out quality checks on your work
* Work as part of a team to meet production goals
Requirements / Skills
* Proven competence in welding mild and stainless steel
* Experience with MIG, TIG, or equivalent welding methods
* Ability to pass a weld test as part of the hiring process
* Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
* Able to work within a team and take responsibility for your work
* Flexibility to work on rotating shifts
Salary & Benefits
* Estimated salary range: £30,000 £40,000 per year (depending on experience)
